ECE + MyDocs: AI-Powered Academic Profiles for Faster, More Consistent International Admissions

Client Stories

As international enrollment continues to play a critical role in institutional growth, admissions teams face increasing pressure to evaluate global academic records quickly, consistently, and at scale. International transcripts arrive in many formats, grading systems, and languages, making manual review time-consuming and difficult to standardize across applicants and institutions.

Educational Credential Evaluators (ECE), a nonprofit with more than 45 years of experience delivering trusted, human-reviewed credential evaluations, partnered with MyDocs to address this challenge. By integrating MyDocs’ AI-powered Academic Profiles into ECE’s Course-by-Course evaluations, the partnership combines expert credential review with structured, institution-ready academic data, helping colleges and universities move faster toward confident admissions decisions.

The Challenge

Colleges and universities increasingly rely on international enrollment, but academic records arrive in widely varying formats, grading scales, and languages. ECE has delivered trusted, human-reviewed credential evaluations, yet institutions still faced downstream challenges:

  • Academic data was inconsistent

  • Manual interpretation and data entry slowed decisions

  • Comparing international credentials at scale required significant staff time

ECE sought a way to maintain its high evaluation standards while delivering academic data in a more actionable, institution-ready format.

The Partnership

ECE partnered with MyDocs to integrate AI-powered transcript digitization directly into its Course-by-Course evaluation process.

ECE brings over 45 years of credential evaluation expertise and quality assurance. MyDocs adds structured academic data through its MAPit technology. Together, the partnership combines human expertise with AI to improve usability, consistency, and speed for institutions.

ECEⓇ Course-by-Course reports now include a complimentary MyDocs Academic Profile (MAP), delivered through ECE Dispatch™ with direct integration to Slate for Slate institutions..

The Solution

MyDocs Academic Profiles transform evaluated international transcripts into standardized, digital academic summaries that institutions can use immediately.

Each MAP includes:

  • Course-level details and credit information

  • Standardized GPA conversion to U.S. standards for over 150 languages

  • Subject area academic success insights

The MAP complements ECE’s evaluation, reducing manual review and enabling faster, more confident admissions decisions.

Early Impact

While the partnership is still in its early stages, results to date include:

  • 5,000+ MyDocs Academic Profiles delivered alongside ECEⓇ Course-by-Course reports

  • MAPs distributed to more than 1,100 institutions, extending structured international data across a broad range of admissions workflows

  • Immediate usability of structured academic data, reducing manual interpretation and enabling faster, more consistent admissions review

“At ECE, we are always looking for ways to maintain our high standards while improving the experience for institutions and students. Collaborating with MyDocs allows us to do just that, combining human expertise with smart technology to deliver faster credential evaluations with actionable insights.”
