John founded Parchment (formerly Docufide), the leading academic credential platform acquired by Instructure for $795 million. A longtime innovator in edtech, fintech, and digital systems, he led the development of Citicorp’s first ATMs, home banking tools, and pay-at-the-pump systems. He also served in executive roles at TRW, where he advised on commercialization and technology spin-outs, bringing deep expertise in scaling transformative platforms.
